SUMMARY:Engineering: Sustaining Tomorrow’s Healthcare
DESCRIPTION:This one-day conference will offer the engineering community\, stakeholders\, and collaborators an opportunity to discuss and share knowledge on the various roles that engineers play in enhancing healthcare and in sustaining and improving quality of life through the vital intersection between engineering and healthcare. The first part of the conference will showcase several R&I engineering projects within the biomedical realm; the second part will explore the niche roles that engineers hold within the healthcare industry and why engineers are critical for healthcare facilities; and the final session will discuss the challenges and opportunities in the Maltese manufacturing sector of medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
