SUMMARY:29th Annual Engineering Conference: Sustainable Development Goals\, An Engineering Perspective
DESCRIPTION:The Chamber of Engineers proudly presents the 29th Annual Engineering Conference titled Sustainable Development Goals: An Engineering Perspective. This conference seeks to address the challenges and opportunities faced by Engineers in addressing the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development set and will be an opportunity for the engineering community and stakeholders to discuss technical and engineering solutions to reach the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). \nThis conference shall in particular touch on the following SDGs with high relevance to the engineering profession: \n\nSDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation\nSDG 7: Affordable and Clean Energy\nSDG 9: Industry\, Innovation and Infrastructure\nSDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities\nSDG 12: Responsible Consumption and Production\n\nThe 29th Annual Engineering Conference will be held on Friday 14th October 2022 at the Radisson Blu Resort in St Julians. Registration will begin at 8:30am and the programme will run until 5:00 pm.
