The Startup Festival began as a celebration of Malta’s thriving start-up ecosystem and the 20th anniversary of KBIC.

From its second edition, the festival expanded to include youth engagement initiatives and investor matchmaking. Over the years, it has continued to grow, attracting top entrepreneurial talent and hundreds of start-ups across sectors such as FinTech, Gaming, VR/AR, BioTech, and the Blue Economy.

Now entering its fifth year, the festival will once again feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, hands-on workshops, and a dedicated exhibition space. Start-ups and scale-ups will also have the opportunity to participate in matchmaking sessions with both local and international investors.
