COORDINATOR (Job Permit No. 415/2023)

About The Role

Job Permit Number – 415/2023

The Coordinator will be expected to apply an acquired list of duties carried out at Tech.mt and will play an essential role in in shaping the feel of our daily operations. You will be an integral part in ensuring that our office operations run smoothly and successfully.

The duties include and are not limited to:

  • Assist Management in executing Strategy of the Foundation;
  • Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger on our Accounting Software, including monthly reconciliation of the bank accounts;
  • Manage the purchase of services and supplies and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders;
  • Provide assistance to the Management in the yearly audit of the financial statements;
  • Maintain and manage files and records keeping a highly well organised approach throughout;
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings;
  • Prepare travel arrangements;
  • Represent Tech.mt in meetings and other events as required;
  • Assistance in other duties may be directed from time to time by the Management. Any other duties described above may change depending on the exigencies of Tech.mt.

Skills Required

  • Positive, self-starter who with particular attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Organised with the ability to prioritise and multi-task;
  • Reliable, responsive, available, and present;
  • Autonomous and self-motivated;
  • Able to work in a very fast-paced environment under tight deadlines;
  • Able to think analytically, apply sound judgment, and solve problems.

Position Requirements

Applicants must be in possession of one of the following:

  • Preference will be given to candidates who possess a Degree in Business & Entrepreneurship; or Information Technology or an equivalent qualification in a relevant field of study at National Qualification Framework Level 6 or better, duly certified by the Malta Qualifications Recognition Information Centre (MQRIC)* or a widely recognised professional qualification at a comparable level in a  related domain area; OR
  • Consideration will also be given to Candidates with an NQF Level 5 Diploma or an equivalent qualification in the area/s of Business & Entrepreneurship; or Information Technology or related domain area AND three (3) years prior work experience in the area/s of Business & Entrepreneurship; or Information Technology or related domain area; OR
  • Candidates who at least possess five (5) years’ experience in the field/s of Business & Entrepreneurship; or Information Technology or related domain area.
