[Reissue] Tender for the Provision Of Digital And It Training Services As Part Of The Women4it Project.

This CfT seeks proposals for the delivery of innovative training solutions aimed at preparing the target group of  young women for employment in one of five pre-designed job roles.

The Consultant shall create individual training roadmaps that total to 160 hours of training related to the 5 job profiles below.

The pilot training that is the subject of this CFT is anchored on the adaptation of five base training roadmaps with learning outcomes and curricula totalling 160 hours of training that will lead to the acquisition of skills, knowledge and competence associated with one particular job profile.

Using the base training roadmap as the starting point, individual online training roadmaps will be created for each trainee. The specific learning outcomes are detailed in the training roadmaps. While the curricula should be covered, hours per unit and methods of instruction are tailored to each group, or trainee, depending on the circumstances e.g. instructor led training, supported online learning, coaching/mentoring, webinars, seminars, networking events etc. Creativity is sought from providers intending to submit proposals for learning and development design and delivery.

For practical purposes and to achieve better results, participants may be grouped by job profile, typically 10-20 per group. However, the trainer should focus on each participant as an individual and adapt instruction accordingly.

Soft skills and job readiness training are not included as discrete units in the training roadmaps but it is expected that an element of soft skills and job seeking advice will be incorporated into the training e.g. by having participants present project work to their group or by discussing typical job advertisements for a particular role.

The ultimate goal of the project is to secure digital jobs for these young women. Therefore where employers have committed to recruiting a woman on completion of her training, or are actively engaged in the project, the roadmap/s may be adapted to facilitate the employer’s needs e.g. a comparative software tool may be taught or workplace learning units may be inserted into the roadmap, keeping within the overall 160 hour timeframe.
