AIVHY Ltd - January 11, 2022 - 0 comments

Industry 4.0, an exciting future of digitalization, integration, and auto(no)mation. A future where organizations gain significant competitive advantage or fall behind. Everyone seems to talk about it, but how to get started? And even more challenging, how to make sure it lasts!

The path to implementing successful Industry 4.0 knows many challenges to overcome. Managing the transformation to Industry 4.0 is one of the biggest among them. It involves vision, strategy, change management, people, technology, and digital integration through the company and even the supply chain. It requires a leader with a deep understanding of Industry 4.0’s values, principles, it’s challenges, short- & long-term business potential, and limitations.

Interestingly, the number of courses and information available regarding the strategic aspects of Industry 4.0 are limited. In order to help businesses in Malta to innovate in a lasting and scalable manner, a study unit was made available as a result of a partnership between the University of Malta’s Faculty of ICT and AIVHY LTD. The study unit prepares executives and leaders to recognize Industry 4.0’s potential in their own professional environment, envision, and lead the organization to a successful future of uniform and lasting Industry 4.0. We will teach the principles & challenges of Industry 4.0, Industry 4.0’s business potential & value, and provide a clear understanding of the techniques & technology involved on a function/business value level.
